The LaunchPad is unlike any other personal computer. It helps to organize a child’s screen life in productive and meaningful ways.

“One very important goal of childhood is to become educated. Children must attend school and do homework after school. This is not just to gain content knowledge but to also develop a strong work ethic and gain critical emotional regulation skills.

Another important goal of childhood is to explore the world to gain interests that can lead to valuable hobbies and careers. This can be accomplished by experiencing enriching activities, some of which can be online.

Lastly, children have a need for connection and play. They also need to experience the rewards for their daily work and must also learn limits, moderation and balance in their lives.”

Each of the three modes have their own time limits and parental control settings which limit the types of applications and websites the user can access.
