Network Connectivity and WIFI - Base model supports:

• Wired Gigabit Ethernet networking (highest performance for cloud gaming). This can be connected to your home Ethernet network or cabled to a Mesh System Hub with an Ethernet jack.

• Dual band (2.4GHz and 5GHz) WIFI only for environments with very strong WIFI signal such as when a high performance router or Mesh System Hub is located in the next room. This will not be high performance and not suitable for cloud gaming..

Networking Options:

• 300 Mbps WIFI Extender (connects to wired Gigabit Ethernet port).

• High Speed Dual Band WIFI Router used as an Extender and supports cloud gaming (connects to wired Gigabit Ethernet port).

Audio Outputs - Base model supports:

• Analog Audio out via 3.5mm jack

• HDMI audio (when supported by display)

• Bluetooth 5.0 (limited to 5-10 ft. range)

Audio Options

• USB HD Audio Adapter provides an audio / microphone input and higher quality audio than from the 3.5mm jack. Not necessary for audio output if 1080p display supports audio output.

• USB Long Range Bluetooth Adapter

High speed WIFI Router with multiple long range antennas intended to bring high performance WIFI connection to the LaunchPad. The LaunchPad automatically runs the setup software with guided on-screen instruction when this model is selected.

300Mbps (2.4GHz) WIFI Extender connects to LaunchPad Ethernet port to provide WIFI access when the LaunchPad internal WIFI does not have sufficient range. Note that this is not intended for cloud gaming or use with PC and PS Remote Play.

Audio and Input Device Adapter

Audio adapter with both audio inputs and outputs. Connects to a USB 2.0 or 3.0 port.
